I’m Odalys C. Pérez, MS, LIMHP, RPT, the founder and sole therapist at Pérez Counseling Services. As a bilingual (English–Spanish) and bicultural licensed professional in Nebraska and Iowa, I bring both my clinical expertise and personal experience as an immigrant to the families I serve.
My practice focuses on two areas of specialization: immigration psychological evaluations and play therapy for children. For more than a decade, I have provided detailed immigration evaluations that follow strict clinical and legal standards. These reports have supported cases such as hardship waivers, asylum, U-Visa, VAWA, and T-Visa petitions—often becoming key evidence in life-changing decisions.
Alongside this work, I am a Registered Play Therapist. Through play—the natural language of children—I help young clients express emotions, develop resilience, and discover healthier ways to cope with challenges. I create a safe, supportive, and culturally sensitive environment where children and families feel understood and valued.
As the only therapist at Pérez Counseling Services, every client receives my personal attention and care. My passion is to guide families through difficult transitions, whether that means healing emotional struggles or navigating the complexities of the immigration process.
